Dawn is art piece on the borderline between reality and dreaming, the immediate and the eternal. It is a poem about our eternal search for meaning, our place in the world and the sublime.
Dawn is a triptych and is based on the symbolism of a triangle where three parts create strong balance and one whole. The installation discusses the questions around Body/ Mind/ Soul, Past/ Present/ Future and Birth/ Life/ Death. In this way the art piece creates an almost sacral state of reflection and inspiration and invites audience to a poetic, dynamic and contemplative experience.
Dawn is collaboration with well-known Latvian composer Peteris Vasks and Norwegian dance company Nagelhus Schia Productions.

Anastasia Isachsen is a visual artist and curator, specializing in video- and light art.
Since launching her practice in Delhi in 2009 and Oslo in 2011, she has worked across a wide range of settings, including installations, festivals, concerts, dance performances, and exhibitions, both in Norway and internationally.
Known for her graphic aesthetic, philosophical and emotional depth, and technical precision, Isachsen’s work invites audiences into captivating and contemplative experiences.
As the founder and artistic director of Fjord Studio, she curates light art projects in Norway and worldwide, including being a creative leader the development of Fjord Oslo, annual light art festival in Oslo.
Her vision is to elevate light art as a form of contemporary art, merging emotional and intellectual depth with cutting-edge technology to explore the complexities of human experience.
