ABYSS is a mysterious creature coming from the depths of the world. Inspired by bioluminescent animals living in the deep ocean, ABYSS raises awareness on the beauty and fragility of the undersea world. The spectator is instantly immersed in its disturbing universe.

Its delicate and luminous structure is formed by 4 grand arcs connected in a meticulous network of cables. Anchored by concrete ballast, the entire installation is held in a state of balance, animated by a strong desire for freedom. Light and sound travel through the massive skeleton, giving life to the strange entity.

You can connect with ABYSS through one interface at its core, provoking unpredictable reactions from the creature.

Module is a Lyon-based producer of monumental installations in public space. Founded by artist-architect Nicolas Paolozzi in 2017, it explores the effects of large-scale architecture animated by light and sound.

Nicolas Paolozzi began his work in 2011 with RDV Collective, a digital art project that explored the possibilities of image, sound and digital tools in audiovisual installations, stage design and experimental settings. With Module he carries this work further, with a concerted focus on the architectural and monumental in all his pieces.

Since 2017, Module has been an artist ambassador of Lyon Festival of Lights.
